A Northwest Arkansas native and graduate of the U of A, Mitchell brings deep local roots and strong relationships across both the business and trade communities. His career began as a custom carpenter, where he spent years refining his craft and developing a hands-on appreciation for quality, detail, and durability.
Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit—and a desire to build something lasting for his family—Mitchell earned his residential contractor’s license and established a business grounded in integrity, craftsmanship, and long-term vision. He finds fulfillment in uniting teams, fostering creativity, and navigating challenges with adaptability and clear communication. Mitchell’s approach to building is rooted in relationships, trust, and purpose.

Kelley manages financial operations and design at Black Oak Builders, bringing a detail-driven and people-focused approach to every project. Guided by a commitment to family, organization, and long-term value, she plays a key role in shaping homes that are both beautifully crafted and thoughtfully designed for everyday living.
With a background as a licensed occupational therapist, Kelley brings a unique understanding of how individuals and families live, move, and grow within their spaces. By blending beauty and function, she curates materials, finishes, and layouts that highlight craftsmanship and quality. In addition, Kelley oversees all real estate transactions, ensuring a smooth, well-coordinated experience for both the builder and the homebuyer.
